Blast from the past.

[EDIT/]
Hey, I actually wrote this before christmas vacation and never really finished it, so here it is, a painful (to me) reminder of the year that came and went (thankfully). Anyway, hope to have a real update soon, and thanks ever ever so much to all the people who keep on commenting! It always makes me smile when someone lets me know they read what I wrote.
Anyway, hope ya'll enjoy this technologically enhanced post.
[/EDIT]

Ello! I'm back! Writing on my blog! Yes I am! Seriously! Without a doubt! No, really, it is kinda strange that I have to repeat this to you! I really, really, am writing on my blog! I assure you! Trust me.
Maybe it's the fact that it has been so long since I've made a new post that causes you to doubt your eyes.

For some reason the event that has jerked me out of my blogless stupor is that I just finished, no more than a couple of minutes ago, watching the movie Se7en. Impressions: Um, wow. Just wow. That was a crazy messed up movie. But it was done so very well. The plot is your basic "serial killer mastermind leads the policemen (Played by Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman) on a cleverly planed race to figure out the clues he leaves behind before it is too late", cat-and-mouse type thing, and as you can probably guess from the title, his murders are all centered on the 7 deadly sins. The movie could have been predictable, but it turned out to be so much more than average. First of all, this movie is deeply disturbing in the manner the people are killed. Think of the most disturbing CSI killing you've seen times ten. At least they were in my opinion; contrary to CSI, here they leave a little bit more to the imagination, without those CSI 3D zooms into the wounds and all. Of course, this movie was made way back in 1995 before they could do those zoom things, but I am getting off track here. The parts that really shined in this movie and made it awesome were the acting ( despite the gloomy setting, you found yourself actually caring about the characters ), and most importantly, the story. Very well put together and very intriguing, it holds your attention till the very end. All in all, I thought this movie was great. But should you see it? Well, I guess that depends. You see, it is a bit of a downer, and as I mentioned before, it is pretty disturbing. Oh, and there is cussing. Lots of it I believe. I know my family probably wouldn't like this movie very much as they are not big on downer movies. Me, it doesn't bother. I blame growing up in french school. Somehow the french penchant for melancoly movies insinuated itself into my subconscious or something. I mean, I've always secretly hoped that Tom would finally catch Jerry or that Wile E. Coyote's ACME product would work for once and he'd catch that blasted Roadrunner. So I guess the choice is up to you. I think it's a good movie, but if you'd rather watch a halmark channel original movie than CSI, then it's probably not for you.

Okay everybody, are we going to let The John get away with posting an old post he didn't get around to posting until now nearly two months later? Why, WE WANT MORE JOHN!!! We need real up-todate info on The John and his........ I don't...... LIFE!!! Yeah, LIFE!!!

Thanks for the post John. It was..... well..... interesting, I guess. Maybe like the movie you watched last year but just now put the post on for the rest of us to read. You should write for the newspaper or something and do their movie reviews. You are rather good at it.

YAYAYAYAYAYAY...life is good again. John updated.

"Falling H2O said..." has a point. You need to update again John... yep.

Hmmmmmm... wonder if John has updated again.

Nope.

Too bad.

Two bad is two more bad than nothing.

Was that supposed to make sense? No. Only cents. Or dollars. Or some other thing.

John? Could you update for me? Pretty please?

Hey, what's up?
I think French society will make you immune to 'downer movies'. And I've always hated Tom and Jerry, Wiley Coyote and Roadrunner, Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny (etc...) because I just wanted Jerry to get caught, Roadrunner to get blasted, Bugs to get shot (etc...). Then again, that could just be that I was a messed up child. That's probably it. :-)

WHEN

And yet another wandering glance... another trip to the sight... another hope for an update... when, oh when?
The question remains, the days continue passing by, without a glance to the past, not waiting for the answer. When? Oh when? Days turn into weeks, weeks consist of many hours... and many visits to see if there is a new update from the oh so wise, oh so clever John. It is time to get in on the John... but where is the John? The people have gathered and wait expectnatly for an update from the John... the great and glorious blogger of "Get In On the John" knowing not the day nor the hour... the question remains... unasked, unanswered, unheard...when? Oh when?

This has been a dramitized written thingy ma-gigger-ma-bobber written and directed by Mary Beth sombeody or other, it is dedicated to John for his not so frequent, frequent updates as well as to Jonathan and Katie for pointing me into John's direction. The profets from this production go to friends of John across the world... or whoever reads this, seeing as the benifit and prophet is delightful laughter. I'd like to thank my parents and brother Matthew for their crazy influence on my life, as well as the rest of my 4 siblings.

About the author. My name is Mary Beth, I'm crazy and proud of it. I was born in a town that was in a state in a year that was really great. Mary Beth enjoys reading posts written by friends, long emails from friends and family, delightful laughter and wonderful company.

Special thanks to the computer and blogspot for making this comment possible. Special thanks to God for making people capable of laughter, and even more thanks for computers that are not cappable of it (because that would be REALLY freaky to have a computer start laughing at me... might make me more careful for what I say and do around a computer)

Note from the author:

I hope this comment has been an enjoyable experiance. May God bless you all.

PS Update John!
